GameStop Announces Exclusive Pre-Order Campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation DLC
GRAPEVINE, Texas, Jun 17, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GameStop (NYSE: GME), the world's largest multichannel retailer of video games, announced today that Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation can now be pre-ordered exclusively at U.S. GameStop locations. Annihilation is the third downloadable content (DLC) release for Call of Duty: Black Ops and is only available for pre-order at GameStop.
Annihilationfeatures four new multiplayer maps: Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo and Hazard. In addition, players will also enjoy an all-new Zombies experience, Shangri-La, an exotic and mysterious map filled with deadly traps, dark secrets and innovative gameplay that will challenge even the most daring Zombie hunters.
"Building on GameStop's record-breaking, initial pre-order DLC campaign for the Escalation pack, we partnered with Microsoft and Activision for a second time to create a full pre-order campaign for Annihilation, exclusively for our customers," commented Tony Bartel, president of GameStop.
