Comic Jumper falls to $10 permanently
The adventures of Captain Smiley have gotten a little cheaper this week, as Twisted Pixel has announced a permanent price drop for its pen-and-ink blaster, Comic Jumper. Originally priced at 1200 MS Points ($15), the panel-hopper will now be available for 800 MS Points ($10).
Of course, if you really want to save some money, Comic Jumper is still part of the current Xbox Live Deal of the Week lineup. This week only, the new price has been cut in half, dropping it down to an impulse purchase of $5 for Xbox Live Gold members. If you consider the four distinct comic styles contained within the game, it works out to $1.25 per issue.

Comic Jumper Gets Deal of the Week and Permanent Price Drop
June 29th, 2011 - Austin, TX - Today Twisted Pixel Games announced that its award-winning Xbox LIVE® Arcade action-platformer Comic Jumper is on sale this week as part of the Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week. The game, which launched at 1200 MSP during Microsoft's inaugural Game Feast promotion last fall, is now available for a limited time for 400 MSP. Twisted Pixel also announced that once the sale concludes Comic Jumper's regular price will be 800 MSP.
In Comic Jumper players control the Captain and his mouthy "chestkick" Star as they attempt to bring their comic book series back from the brink of cancellation by jumping into and saving the storylines of four different comic franchises ranging from 70's fantasy, silver age, modern, and Manga. Each comic offers its own unique art style true to the era, and varying gameplay mechanics in the vein of core classic shooters of the nineties.
