Gambling on Duels
Quote:

Me and a group of friends got this brilliant idea one day about gambling. Basically what we do is make people duel a hunter's pet and see if they can kill the pet within a minute.
Of course we want to profit on this so we made an entry fee with a chance to win an amount of gold.
Is this considered gambling and is it legal? I need to know because we've planned an evening to do this with good geared players and not random people from outside of Stormwind with higher win-prize and entry fee.

Okay, to clarify the rules on this specific scenario:

If the event is based on skills and not on a random chance factor (such as using /roll to decide a winner), it's actually fine from a legal standpoint.

Cardboard box mount
Quote:

Just give worgen a Cardboard box with wheels that has "MOUNT" painted on the side in bright red letters and call it a day. It'd make me laugh :)

I'm reasonably sure that if you climbed into a cardboard box it would turn into a fighter jet, space-ship, time machine, cloning bank or transmogrifier. Given the highly volatile and unpredictable nature of cardboard box physics, I don't think that this is feasible.
