Samsung HDTV

Samsung 50-inch LED 1080p 60Hz HDTV

Price: $699.99 (Regularly $850).
Buy: Target

If you're looking for a big, shiny living room centerpiece on the verge of football season, this Samsung will give you just that. Its two HDMI inputs may feel a little limiting for those that like a lot of TV-watching options, but Target shoppers were willing to overlook that and raved about the picture quality and clarity. To avoid the $50 shipping fees opt for in-store purchase.

Lenovo IdeaCentre

Lenovo IdeaCentre B540 23-inch Desktop PC

Price: $629.99 (Regularly $800). Free shipping/Prime.
Buy: Amazon

Those in the market for a space-saving desktop computer would do well to give the IdeaCentre all-in-one a look. The system's wide, beautiful display and flexibility are its top selling points. As we noted in our CES 2012 coverage, the IdeaTouch software makes it easy to toggle between PC and TV modes with a tap of the OneKey TV picture-in-picture window. Plus, the touchscreen almost makes Windows 8 enjoyable to use... almost.

Canon PowerShot

Canon PowerShot SX280HS

Price: $279.99 (Regularly $330). Free shipping.
Buy: Crutchfield

Canon's compact superzoom pleased tech writers and shutterbugs alike with its WiFi connectivity and speedy autofocus, earning a 84 gdgt Score. Superb image quality and an intuitive design make it a solid choice for travelers who would rather focus on capturing their adventures, rather than mastering camera settings. Bear in mind that this Canon is said to devour batteries, so it would be wise to pick up a spare.

Logitech Wireless Mouse

Logitech Wireless Mouse M310

Price: $16.99 (Regularly $30).
Buy: OfficeMax

This symmetrical mouse from Logitech is designed to be equally ergonomic for both left-handers and righties. Not surprisingly, gdgt users think pretty highly of it, giving it an 8.1 (out of 10). They were particularly impressed with its comfort, and rated the portability particularly high. We strongly suggest going and picking one up in person, since the slightly absurd $10 shipping fee eats up much of the savings.

Samsung Galaxy Note II

Samsung Galaxy Note II

Price: $149.99 with 2-year Verizon contract (Regularly $200). Free shipping.
Buy: Amazon

The Note II is soon to become yesterday's news (literally), thanks to the larger, faster and more powerful Galaxy Note 3. Still, Samsung's last-gen phablet is pretty attractive at 25 percent off. It still handles most apps with aplomb and the vast 720p display allows the S-Pen to truly shine. Plus, if you pray really hard, maybe Samsung will bless it with an update to Android 4.3 and add Gear compatibility.

Bioshock Infinite

BioShock Infinite

Price: $19.99 (Regularly $40). Offer expires Sunday.
Buy: Amazon

Along with The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite is a front-runner for most critics' game of the year honors. The game Joystiq called "one of the best told stories of this generation" is set in Columbia, a skybound false utopia that fosters institutional racism and xenophobia. The smart history and philosophy-laden script (not to mention the thrilling combat) make Bioshock a must-have for the thinking gamer.
