With the Jaybird Freedom, sweatproof metal earbuds pack in Bluetooth 4.0 and can be paired with up to eight devices. The in-ear headphones also have an in-line remote for volume control and a microphone for taking calls during a run. What about battery life? Well, the company says you can expect up to eight hours of play time, thanks to an included charging clip that doubles playback. When they arrive in Q2, Jaybird Freedom will set you back $200.
The Jaybird X3 is the follow-up to the popular X2 headphones that launched in 2015. Bluetooth 4.0 provides the connectivity here as well, and the MySound app is available for EQ changes. Like with the Jaybird Freedom, you'll be able to sync sound profiles with the X3. You can also expect seven hours of battery life, sweatproof construction and SignalPlus tech that provides a stronger signal to reduce skips and drops outdoors. The X3 is also slated to go on sale in Q2, with a price of $150.
Update: An earlier version of this post reported that the MySound app didn't offer the same functionality to both headphones. That isn't the case, and the text has been updated to correct the error.
