Hell yeah, Bloober Team time. This is the studio that did the fabulous Silent Hill 2 remake for Konami recently, and they're working on this Dead Space-esque horror shooter, Cronos: The New Dawn. Coming fall 2025. Hot.

Grounded 2 is coming July 29, surprise!

Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty is here now to talk about how much Microsoft loves all of the studios it owns.

Only Xbox could take a studio renowned for stunningly well-written RPGs and end up with an FPS.

This looks... really cool? I did not know what to expect out of inXile when it comes to FPS games, but I'm digging the look of Clockwork Revolution.

Clockwork Revolution is a steampunky RPG with time travel, guns and realistic pants-peeing action, if this latest trailer is anything to go by.

It's kinda unclear what kind of game Clockwork Revolution will be, although expect discussion trees, shenanigans and violence.

Clockwork Revolution is next up! From inXile Entertainment, the Wasteland studio.

Beast of Reincarnation is coming in 2026, and it looks like a beautiful action game.

This next trailer comes from Game Freak but it's... not Pokemon.

A new adventure is on its way. Indie will explore Rome, find a secret relic, and probably use a whip. Yep, Xbox just announced the first chunk of Indiana Jones DLC, The Order of Giants, and it's coming September 4 2025

Ninja Gaiden 4 is coming October 21 and it looks like a violent mess. I mean that in the best way possible.

Look at that little square blob of meat go, he's so strong. Super Meat Boy 3D is coming early 2026 and it looks like a lovely little slice of chaos, as always.

We're back to the games. First up: Rebel Wolves.

The Blood of Dawnwalker from Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco is our next trailer. Dark medieval fantasy, let's go.

A deeper dive now on the ROG Xbox Ally, teasing that all the games shown during the Xbox Games Showcase will play on the handheld. The device will land during this year's holiday season in two different flavors. ROG Xbox Ally: "The essential handheld" and the ROG Xbox Ally X, apparently "the ultimate high-performance handheld, built for the most demanding players."

SILKSONG MENTION ALERT. But it was just the fact that it'll be on the Xbox Ally this year. Stand down.

Now that all the cartoonish alien silliness is out of the way, it's a handheld console, but not one built by Xbox. The ROG Xbox Ally comes in two flavors this holiday.

After High on Life 2 (coming this winter) we also saw the next chapter of A Plague Tale, Resonance.

Don't forget the irradiated fish! Microsoft's big setup at Summer Game Fest Play Days is a fishing experience with the Fallout 76 team, in celebration of the Gone Fission update that rolled out earlier this month. Please, won't someone think of the radioactive fish.

... And then, of course. There's Hollow Knight: Silksong. There's always Silksong.

As for what we're expecting today... we'd put good money on updates about Gears of War: E-Day, Arkane's Blade game, and Playground's Fable reboot. We know Hideo Kojima is in town, so some more info on that OD game he's making for Xbox would be nice too. After that it becomes a bit of a free for all. There are some long-in-development first-party titles like Everwild, Clockwork Revolution and Perfect Dark, and some reasonably strong rumors around a Persona 4 remake that might show up. Of course, there's always the small issue of Elder Scrolls VI, which we've heard nothing about in half a decade, and that rumored handheld console.

It's been a pretty good year for Microsoft so far, with the Avowed and Doom: The Dark Ages being great, the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake selling well, and and some of its third-party "Day One on Game Pass" bets like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Blue Prince really hitting the mark. Amid all that, though, the company was forced to raise prices on its consoles, and has continued to bring its games to other consoles. Forza Horizon 5 hit PS5 back in April, and Gears of War is coming this summer. While that's great news for Microsoft's bottom line, it definitely dilutes the appeal of its own consoles.
