Add WiFi to the Tungsten E using Enfora's Wireless Portfolio Case
No, you still can't get add a WiFi expansion card to pretty much any Palm handheld yet (except for the Zire 71, but we won't get into the particulars of that mess). Yeah, it's going to get better eventually, but in the meantime you do have the option of adding 802.11b to your Tungsten E via Enfora's Wireless Portfolio Case, which combines a wireless card and a battery into a case that you connect to your Palm through its mini-USB port. This one only works with the Tungsten E, but there is an earlier version that works with older Palms.

It's about time someone step up for Tungsten E. Anyway, there's also another good news or rather hope for Tungsten E user. According from what I've heard, the same wifi card Sandisk made for palm71 are used under Tungsten E by the people working at Sandisk. They are not going to release any driver for T|E simply because they couldn't guarantee that the wifi card will bring no harm to the T|E device. Apparently the driver used on the T|E is the same driver for Palm zire 71. For more information, visit brighthand.com forum for Tungsten E wireless.

even better is their GRPS case. via IR or a similar cable connection, you can get any Palm OS PDA that fits the cable or has IrDA on a cell network. I've long wanted to be able to get on-line anytime anywhere, but have no desire to have an actual cell-phone. I just want data. But, I don't want to be tied to a specific device- hip-top sickkick for example. It's an awesome little thing, but it's not the same as having my badass desktop replacement PDA on the cellnet whenever I want. :)
I use the SanDisk WiFi SDIO card to access the internet from my Tungsten E via my home LAN, even though the card is only specified for the Zire 71.
