Porsche Cayenne cellphone speeds right by the trademark police
We've seen automakers galore slap their logos and color schemes onto modern day handsets, but what would the world of exotic mobiles be without a Porsche in the mix? Apparently, a Hong Kong manufacturer has taken the duty upon itself, as the presumably unlicensed Porsche Cayenne cellphone is now showing up on overseas streets with a full automotive makeover. Externally, you'll find smooth lines and Porsche-brandings, while a two-megapixel camera graces the hood and a color screen (shown after the jump) sits atop the guages. Although actual specs can't be confirmed, we're hearing that it purs along on dualband GSM, supports microSD flash cards, and plays nice with MP3 / MP4 files. Of course, we aren't expecting the quality of this sub-$200 handset to even come close to that found on your average Porsche, but we'd suggest snapping one up on the double before impending legal action dries up the supply.

What a complete and total waste of money, plastic and time.
I want one.
Dude, that was hilarious.

I think it's rollin' on 1/2"ers!
For around £100, that's a pretty nice looking phone, with all the standard features all accounted for. Just wait until this company makes a fake version of the iPhone for dead cheap with better (gasp!) specs than the real deal (yes fanboys, there are better specs than the ones on the the iPhone).
but after looking at the *other* side of the phone, maybe it doesn't look so hot anymore...
@Johnaton: Class comment, even better if you added more white space between lines though :p
looks more like an old 928 than a cayenne. Monstrously ugly either way.
Now hold on just a minute.
Outside of the Porsche logos and the "Cayenne" name on the face, can anyone point out a SINGLE feature that specifically resembles a Porsche Cayenne (or any Porsche for that matter) rather than, say, a Ford Taurus?
You're right, that looks to be a non-specific car shaped mobile with Porsche badges, weak.
I can't belive Porche motor co will set back and let this happen. Did'nt they go after Ford Motor co. for designing a horse logo, to go on a new Mustang, that looked to close to the Porche logo.
Yeah, right... doesn't look too Cayenne'ish... which is probably a good thing, since I've never in my life seen such an ugly SUV. Even Porsches photogs think so, since the press photos for the facelifted Cayenne were showing the car in the dark.
Still, what an ugly phone.
I'm going to say a dodge neon had sex with a ford taurus and came out with this
That in no way resembles any Porsche I've ever seen. Probably the ugliest phone ever!
Hahahahahaha! This just goes to show that no one in Asia has even seen a Porsche.
Are you serious? Hong Kong is littered with high end luxury vehicles, because the only people who can afford cars there are rich enough to buy Mercedes, Bimmers and Porches.
I know, I know. It was a joke, and that's sure what it looks like. Apparently, the designer were going off a picture in their head.
"we aren't expecting the quality of this sub-$200 handset to even come close to that found on your average Porsche"
So that means you need to take it into the shop every 10000 minutes of usage for an overhaul?
Wow... I think it's definitely better looking than Cayenne!
Seriously, it looks like a nokia with a funny battery case...
What sort of transmission options do I get? Does it come in any colors besides black?
there's only two kinds of people who would buy this:
1 - complete and utter retards
2 - hipsters, who buy it because it's so bad, it's good again - and, hence, hip
still, that's a pretty substantial niche market right there. i see fortunes being made here...
My gosh its ugly. One total lack of taste and sense. Looks like a cheap gimmick. One of those plastic toys you give to kids as chew item for their 1st birthday, Lol
