Limited-edition Wisin & Yandel Zune

Microsoft has chosen Latin act Wisin & Yandel to grace the case of a limited edition Zune, but it's not by any means the first, as Reuters is reporting. Joining the Adult Swim, Halo 3, and various Pink limited edition Zunes, the Wisin & Yandel Zune will target the Latin market, hopping on the back of the duo's successful music career. Good luck to both parties, although we suspect the promotion may be a little limited in reach.

1. How do you know? Have you seen a real hitman before?
2. Reggaeton DOES suck.
3. Never heard of the group...but I think this is a great idea. Apple on did this once, with U2. Good idea...but uhhhhhhhh, what about the other million or so bands/groups/performers with followers?
4. The Zune is a GREAT media player. Period. Constantly trying to compare it to the iPod is fruitless.

I am latin, and don't know them. They are not very popular in PR.

There are latin artists that are much more popular like Shakira, Ricky Marting and j.Lo

Not even popular in PR??? Are you crazy?? My mother even listens to them, and she hates reggaeton with a passion. Everyone in PR knows them, I don't know what you're talking about. I do live in PR, I don't think you're even latin, so stop with the bullshit. The fact that Shakira, Ricky Martin and Jlo, sell better in the US, doesn't mean that they do the same in the latin market. Right now Wisin y Yandel are the most popular in the younger latin community, which is the target MS is aiming for. They've been in the latin Grammys, latin VMAs several times now, so if you haven't heard of them is because your not latin.

Wisin y Yandel. the best reggaeton singers ya tu sabes. I agree, They are everywhere in PR and everywhere in latin america. just turn on univision, and you are certain to see them at least once during the day (i just did this half hour). or go to MTV tr3s or mun2 and they'll be there... if no one knows about them how did their newest single debut number one on the latin charts???? and if they were "nobodies" why would microsoft even bother with them??? next to daddy yankee they are the top selling artists in the reggaeton genre. check the facts before posting "they are not popular in PR".
