Have one, and I think it's amazing. Who cares if it can't do video all that well? It kills everything else in audio, and that's a monumental step forward. It's easy to use, it has some great features, and it's honestly the only device (including a $1000 stereo setup) that can make my Bose 'buds sound good. I love this blog, but in this case I really think you missed the mark on this device. You want amazing video buy a portable DVD player. You want amazing audio, buy this player.
Oh, and try checking your BT quality settings (RTFM!). I think you'll find that this player is capable of more than you've given it credit for. How many players let you apply EQ and some other F/X settings over BT? Right ... none. Give these Sony folks credit where credit is due.
