Hallo Garmin. Please take removable batteries seriously in your car GPS products, particularly the entry-level line-up. There is no good reason to limit the (mobile) life of your devices to the limited charges of the battery. Looking forward to better designs and more logical 'green' use of resources in future products. The nuvi series does not have a user replaceable battery with a few exceptions. The exceptions include the nuvi 5xx, 8xx and the nuvi 900T. These devices have a replaceable lithium-ion battery. I have the same problem. My gps only works when plugged in now :(
