Attack of the cellphone viruses

cellphonesgeneric

CNET's reporting on a new cellphone virus released this week that can spread both through wireless connections and by attaching itself to files, the first of its kind. The virus, known as Lasco.A, works like a computer worm and specifically targets cellphones using the Symbian operating system. The good news is that the virus can only spread to phones that have Bluetooth set to discoverable mode so, if you're worried about getting hit, switch your phone to hidden Bluetooth mode and everything should by hunky dory.
