Samsung is rolling out two new point-and-shoots that show, if nothing else, that the megapixel war is still far from over. The L60 (above, left) is a 6 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, a 2.4-inch LCD, VGA video and 32MB internal memory. The L85 is an 8.1 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom, 2fps burst mode and a few unusual features (especially on a point-and-shoot), including the ability to shoot in a 16:9 aspect ratio and save files in uncompressed TIFF format. Pricing for both is due to be announced at PMA later this month.
