If you've been
dying to get your hands on a Blu-ray player, now's your chance. Sort of. Sony has announced that the company's first
consumer Blu-ray player, the
BDP-S1, is now available for
pre-order. Of course, the player won't actually ship until July at the soonest (which should hopefully give Sony and
other studios enough time to
get some content
together), and is expected to sell for about $1,000, but if you've absolutely got to be the first in line, start
clicking at Amazon.com and SonyStyle.com.
