Engadget HD Podcast 211 - 08.24.2010

Wow, we finally made it. We could be talking about the journey from our old janky comments to the new, awesome ones, or our balky tips inbox — Fixed! We weren't ignoring you, really. We love you. Let's hang out. — we mean football. Our favorite sport is back, and thanks to Fox forcing SD-holdouts into a proper 16x9 frame, looking better than ever. After that we have a look at NVIDIA's 3DTV Play, and what a good news/bad news week it was for Verizon FiOS subscribers. HBO's still talking mobile streaming and Redbox is hiding its Blu-ray discs, but football fanatics will be especially interested in DirecTV offering Sunday Ticket to non-subscribers. then it's on to Dish, with new streaming TV added to its website and plenty of Google TV news before we ask who is right for the latest BD-Live feature included on this season's boxed set of The Office, and if anyone is actually using TV Everywhere.
