Your smartphone and / or tablet is just begging for an update. From time to time, these mobile devices are blessed with maintenance refreshes, bug fixes, custom ROMs and anything in between, and so many of them are floating around that it's easy for a sizable chunk to get lost in the mix. To make sure they don't escape without notice, we've gathered every possible update, hack, and other miscellaneous tomfoolery we could find during the last week and crammed them into one convenient roundup. Official Android updates
Samsung Galaxy Camera: Verizon issued an update this week that brings S Memo, additional smart modes and a remote viewfinder into the fold for this Android-powered camera. [Droid Life, Verizon Wireless (PDF)]
Oppo Find 5: Oppo's released an update for its 1080p Find 5 smartphone that mostly consists of bug fixes, but users will also discover that a weather app and widget have been added this time around. [Oppo Forums]
LG Escape: AT&T published an update to Jelly Bean for this smartphone that's available for OTA installation. Also in the mix, users will discover the AT&T DriveMode app, which is intended to limit one's ability to text and drive at the same time. [AT&T]
Motorola Droid RAZR M: Verizon's announced an OTA update for this compact smartphone that brings improved WiFi connectivity, better low-light and touch-to-focus performance within the camera and reduced pixelation when streaming videos. [Android Central]
HTC One X+: A new OTA update is available from AT&T that brings Bluetooth and WiFi improvements, along with fixes to the AT&T Address Book. [Android Police]
Samsung Galaxy Note II: Sprint has released an maintenance update for this smartphone that brings security fixes and ensures proper function when waking the device. [Android Police]
ASUS MeMo Pad Smart 10: An update to Android 4.2.1 is now available for OTA installation to this 10-inch tablet. [Android Police]
LG Optimus Vu: We're just as shocked as you, but LG has updated the SK Telecom version of this awkward smartphone to Jelly Bean. Perhaps users of the Intuition for Verizon will get just as lucky? (@lg_mobile (Twitter)]
Motorola RAZR: Fido has released an OTA update to Android 4.1.2 for this smartphone, which weighs in at 250MB. [MobileSyrup]
Unofficial Android updates, custom ROMs and misc. hackery
LG Optimus 4X: Nightly builds of CyanogenMod 10.1 are now available for this quad-core smartphone from LG. [Ricardo Cerqueira (Google+)]
Oppo Find 5: If the official update from Oppo this week isn't enough to satiate your bleeding-edge desires, you'll be glad to know that experimental builds of CyanogenMod 10.1 are now available for installation. Other platforms
Nokia Lumia 920: Even though the 1308 firmware update has caused connectivity issues for some users, Rogers has released the software for OTA installation, which is said to bring performance improvements and tweaks to the automatic brightness level adjustment. [WPCentral]
Nokia Lumia 820: Vodafone Australia has unleashed PR 1.1.5 for this smartphone, which enables LTE connectivity for its forthcoming 4G network. Users will also benefit from performance and stability improvements with this release. [WMPoweruser]
Nokia Belle: Those using a Symbian smartphone with Belle FP1 or FP2 will find a beta WiFi update that's said to bring better wireless connectivity to the table. Separately, another update is available that supports YouTube's latest authentication methods for sharing videos. [All About Symbian]
HTC 8X: An update is available for the international, unlocked version of this smartphone, as well as from Verizon Wireless, which is said to resolve SIM card detection issues. The update also fixes an issue with audio calling for Skype and squashes a bug that'd caused unnecessary battery drainage when enabling and then disabling internet sharing. [WPCentral]
BlackBerry Torch 9860: Following last week's update for the Bold 9900, Telstra has released an update to BlackBerry OS 7.1.0.912 for this touchscreen-only smartphone. [N4BB]
BlackBerry Bold 9900: An OTA update is available from NTT DoCoMo that brings BlackBerry OS 7.1.0.923 to this smartphone. [N4BB]
