  • Disappointing day for college football fans

It's a disappointing day for college football fans. Only a few games are in high definition, and they're not exactly the most anticipated matchups.I'm watching Michigan vs. Notre Dame on ABC n boring standard definition. It'll be followed on the same network by Iowa at Iowa State, also not in HDTV.  Meanwhile, over on ESPN, both ESPN and ESPN 2 are showing games in standard definition. If you want any high-def college football games today, you're pretty much stuck with HDNet. None of the major networks are showing anything, except for ESPN-HD's scheduled airing of South Carolina at Georgia at 5:30 p.m. Again, not exactly a major game. Hopefully, this will improve as the season progresses.
