What we're watching and why:
Other than the usual network fare, there's not much on tonight in high definition except for two baseball games. The roaring Cardinals play the Marlins at 8 p.m. on ESPN-HD. Just about following that game, the A's play the Angels at 10 p.m. on sister network ESPN 2-HD.
