iKub: "400% Kubrick iPod!"
Making life finally worth living again, Japanese action figure company Kubrick has designed a robo-holster for the
iPod. You don't get much for your $45 since it doesn't appear to do anything more than just sit there (you'd think it
could at least run off and call the cops when you pirate music or something clever like that), but whatever, Kubrick
made it, so buy yourself eight and keep two in the original packaging.

It at least should come with a file to download to the iPOD which says "I can't do that, Dave".

Sorry to be the pedantic nerd on this one, but the company that makes this is called Medicom. Kubrick is just one particular range of toys they make.

Anyone know if this is a Japan only dealio or if you can get it shipped to Canada? A buddy of mine promised to buy me one if I can find an english language site that carries them and ships to Canada.

Apparently this was a ltd ed thing and they are GONE. looking at the japanese HMV site and a HOST OF OTHERS, this baby is no more and QUITE COLLECTIBLE, apparently. I just got my CARGO mag today with a huge writeup about it, too bad, i wanted one, too. oh well.

Here's a prototype Kubrick made specifically for the iPod Shuffle. Functions as a dock too. :)
