Whole load of movies of Vstone's Robovie-M
We told you before about Vstone's super-expensive (uh, that would be about $4,500 US)
Robovie-M. Nothing much has changed with the 4.2-pound
robot, just that you can see a whole ton of movies of it in action on Vstone's site, like this one of it standing on
one foot, "stretching" like before a jog. Trust us, they're totally worth it.
[Thanks, Mr. Igneous]

Possibly more, with discounts. True, Robosapien probably can't do everything the Robovie-M can do, but then again, 45 Robosapiens who gang up on one Robovie-M could probably rip it to shreds. What fun!
Is it me or is the advance with biped robots in the last year just phenomenal??
I remember seeing that 'first' proper walking jobbie on the news about a year ago and now all of a sudden every Tom, Dick and Japanese robotics expert is making robots that can walk, get up from falling over (now we really are screwed "Hey just push em over" "Ahh shit, they can get up again, RUNNNNNNNNNN") and generally play football (soccer). Actually, what is it with these things playing football, are they hoping to replace all these ridiculously paid idiots with robots. Tell you what they do that and I'll watch a whole match for the first time in my life!!!
Hmmm, think I might go out and buy a Robosapien tomorrow just so that I'm on their good side when they do takeover :D
