HP's new 17-inch zd8000 laptop gets Media Center 2005
HP just keeps bouncing out new Media Center PCs, the latest is the zd8000, a new version of their behemoth 17-inch laptops that runs on the upgraded 2005 version of Windows XP Media Center Edition, and has a 3.4GHz Pentium 4 processor, 802.11g WiFi, a DVD+/-RW drive, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive, an optional removable USB drive that's the size of PC card, and clocks in at a hefty 9.9 pounds. Should be out December 15th, just in time to blow all that Christmas money you meant to spend on presents for other people.
