iPodder 1.1 is out!
Podcasts, basically content automatically delivered to your portable music and video player via RSS feeds, are
usually somewhat difficult to find out about, configure, and find, but the latest version of iPodder for Mac and PC
adds a ton of new features, including a podcast directory you can browse to help you find stuff to listen to.
Also, we wanted to say a big thank you to all the listeners of the Engadget Podcast, because of your feedback and
support we're listed as one of the most popular ones in the iPodder directory. We've added a new
section—podcasts.engadget.com—where you can find all the Engadget podcasts
in one place.

No download link? Don't assume everyone's already tried it out!

id'like to download only the ones from today on
Engadget's RSS feed for podcasts only makes iPodder download the oldest podcast, not the newest one? Anyone know how to get that fixed?
Jeff - it's a problem with Engadget has setup the feed. Usually feeds are setup so the newest items are at the top, but Engadget for some reason has newest items at the bottom. :/
try now.
Hey, love the podcast! I listen to it every time I see it aggregated; it's at the top of my list. You provide a very needed service, and you do it on a very regular basis. I knew of engadget before, but I find myself reading it daily because of the podcast. Keep up the great work!
OS X version blew 1.1.1 blew away my subscriptions, I had to add them back. Then after running a download, adding new subscriptions, and then trying another download iPodder completely blew up. I'm going to try a reboot, something is not right with this, be aware.
I installed the latest version and when it downloads a podcast, it starts playing in iTunes. Has anyone else noticed this problem? I don't want it to play right away because I have a smart playlist set up and one of the criteria is that the files hasn't been played yet!
Mark, I'd like to figure that one out too. Along with the playlist problem, it was pretty alarming the first time my pc starting blasting a podcast at 2am!
Found the answer on ipodder-dev (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ipodder-dev/message/1579):
>Okay, this is committed to CVS. The next version

toggle auto-play.
