iRiver adds video to their H320 and H340 MP3 players
Giving a small sliver of hope to anyone who's optimistic that the iPod Photo is just a codec away from being turned into a video iPod, iRiver has just released a new firmware upgrade for the H320 and H340, (their new audio players that like the new iPod Photo, have color screens for looking at digital photo), that adds support for playback of XviD video files. There are just a few catches, like that it can only playback at maximum of 10 frames per second and that it can't play movies longer than an hour and forty minutes in length, but whatever, if you bought an H320 or an H340 you probably weren't expecting any video capability at all, right?
