Alienware redoes the cube with the Area 51 5300

Alienware Area 51 5300 2

In a bid to combine power and small form factor, gaming PC maker Alienware is releasing the Area 51 5300, a black box of computing power. It uses PCI-Express technology with its x16 graphics slot and a Socket 775 Intel P4 processor. It will support up to 2GB PC3200 DDR memory as well as dual PATA and SATA hard drives. We're not sure how much it will cost, but we can guess there will some compromises made in terms of performance/price ratios here. But hey - it's all about looking good, right?
