Leave it to MIT students to take pong and turn it into Fishpong, some new project designed to encourage "human-to-human interaction in informal social environments". Because, you know, informal social environments need tabletop rehashes of 70s videogames in order to get us meatbags to interact. Oh, wait - there's more. You see, Fishpong was created to "[stimulate] informal computer-supported cooperative play (CSCP) in public spaces such as coffeehouses and cafés." There's an acronym for hanging out with your friends and gaming! It's called CSCP! Hey! Wanna come over and CSCP? You know you want to.
What exactly does the car have to do with this story? ;-)

Anyone else feel this would be a whole lot more interesting if they used live fish for this? Think about it, attach some magnets to fish and have the coffe cups with opposite polarization of the fish magnets, an instant classic!
