ENGADGET RULES! This is the very best site. I read everyday! Love the humor included in the informative articles....could work a little on spelling and grammar. This "Weblog award" seems to be organize be a highly politicaly driven conservative group (or person)... if you look in other categories, you'll see some pretty hateful blogs... Engadget should not get too much involved with these people (i know winning an award is nice, but I wouldn't like to win an award in a competition organized by such intolerant people.)

I frequent both Engadget & Gizmodo several times a day. Engadget has comments & seems more personal. Engadget is updated more often & I can usually look forward to content on weekends & holidays.
I voted Engadget, I feel it is the best. By the looks of it many others do to.

This is *clearly* the best techgadget blog out there, what with its obsessive hourly updates.

And that is why I can't run off voting for you guys. Sorry. The last thing I want is everyone else coming over to Engadget and bogging you guys down, and making me lose my edge that I have over non-Engadget folks.

Didn't know Gizmodo before, it has a similar interface with engadget, but doesn't accept comments, don't understand it. Here comments often provide very useful background or extension.

I too read both Engadget and Gizmodo. Gizmodo has been around for longer... from what I understand, Engadget's editor in chief/co-founder was also an originaly editor and founder of Gizmodo some years ago. He left Gizmodo this year to start Engadget. Allowing comments alone tips the scales in favor of Engadget if you ask me. I also generally prefer the style and the more frequent updates (especially on weekends).

Hmm, I don't know about this; while I do enjoy Engadget's comment system nicely implemented), I also like Gizmodo's satircal and edgey postings, which seems to grab the readers attention more than neccessary at times. Therefore, I voted for both- they compliment with each other very well.

Funny how many engadget readers don't know about it's gizmodo past.
Been reading from day 1 - I remember the hiatus gizmodo had in the week before engadget came online, it was rather upsetting to not get my daily fix.

Which is why I read engadget, it's the original, even if it came after gizmodo.

I can use 'edgey' if want. I don't have a problem with it...and i'm not sure why you have too, but there you go.

I still prefer both, and not one over the other.
