Nokia Spyphone for only $1800

Unless you're incredible paranoid, trying to protect your assets from a two-timing bitch-err, wife, or you are just a wannabe 007, Wireless Imports offers the Nokia Spy Phone.  This little device looks and acts like a normal, crappy cellphone, but it allows the spy to listen in at any time whether the owner / wife (or husband) is on the phone or not.  It also has a mode in which it appears to be off, but isn't.  Or, better yet, you can just dial a special number and listen in to what's going on in that purse, conference room, bedroom, brothel… <cue music>Sometimes I feel like…

Just in case no one new it... it was already possible to put the mobile in spy-mode... any nokia that uses a 2.5 earpiece can be put like this simply by sticking a stick in the place of the earpiece and by putting the phone in silent mode and auto answer...

id think itd be very hard to play it off as a normal phone. lets say uy put n the house somewhere to spy on your significant other and they find it n the drawer or wherever u hid it. they know its not their phone and will know its not yours, what do u tell them?

Metro (SF, ATL, MIA) phones also have a automatic answer mode. Instead of $1800, they're only $35 though.

Most people talk so loud on their cell phones that you don;t need to spy - just stand anywhere within 50 feet of them and listen. I have heard credit card numbers being given with expiration dates and security codes.

dont be fooled guys, this is nothing else then a normal phone with a patched firmware, if you know some people in the cellphones world, you will find the patched firmware for free, then DIY, people selling those phones are betting on your credulity.

there is an answer to this spyphone if you have a Sony Ericsson cellular phone. Get yourself Snapcell, attach it to your handset et voila!
Your conversation will be encrypted.
