Brillian brings the 1080p HDTV
We've been hearing a lot of buzzing about 1080p HDTVs recently (hopefully we'll all be hearing a lot more), and Brillian's among the latest to bring the real deal hi-def to the table. Their 62-inch LCoS display has a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a stunning 13 inputs, (1 DVI, 1 VGA, 2 HD-component, 1 SD-component, 2 RF-tuners, 3 S-video, and 3 composite) and yet despite their wackjob decision to include 2 RF-ins on the holiest of holy HDTV pictures, not one of those inputs is HDMI. Seriously. We'll check it out and report back, but we're not going to keep our hopes up.
