Now that attendees are starting to get over their post-CES jet lag (not to mention hangovers and gambling losses), we're starting to see some post-mortems from pundits who prowled the premises looking for patterns (sorry; we had an alliteration attack this morning). Tim Higgins of Tom's Networking sifted the tea leaves and decided that, based on what he saw at CES, 2005 will be the year of high-def networking. If you have any interest at all in building a home-entertainment network, or even just setting up something as mundane as a music server, you should check out Tim's lengthy review. We'll work on our own recap, declaring 2005 the year of really shiny, small and expensive stuff, once we're over our hangover, er, jet lag.
