Motorola and Oakley teaming up on Bluetooth sunglasses
Not sure if you've heard of it, but this thing called "extreme sports" has really taken off lately, and fortunately for us, Motorola's reversed course to make sure we'll be awash in extreme sports gadgets within a few months. Last week at CES they were showing off prototypes of Bluetooth jackets and helmets they're working on with Burton, that snowboarding gear, now they're teaming up with Oakley. There are no pics or specific details, just that they're going to release new "Bluetooth-enabled wearable wireless communications devices", which sounds mainly like a fancy way of saying "sunglasses that double as wireless headsets," or "We're adding Bluetooth to some Blades."
