Cokin Magne-fix adds optical zoom to any camera

We haven't had great experiences with teleconverters for digital cameras; they're typically too expensive, require kludgy adapter rings and generally don't really give you enough of a real improvement in range to be worth the trouble. But we're intrigued by Cokin's Magne-fix series, a range of inexpensive zoom lenses that attach magnetically to almost any camera, including webcams and phonecams. We don't think these will replace the 12x optical zoom on your Lumix DMC-FZ20, but if you're looking to add a little power to a cheap fixed-lens camera, this could be worth a look.
