The Orange SPV C550

Orange SPV C550

Totally, completely unconfirmed, but some details have leaked out about the Orange SPV C550, which is supposedly going to be the successor to the C500 (aka the Audiovox SMT 5600 over here). The C500 was a sleeper hit of a handset (it was the first Windows Mobile-powered Smartphone that got more things right than it got wrong), and if you're a fan of that phone (Scoble, we're looking in your general direction) it looks like you'll find even more to love with the C550—it has a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, GPRS class 10 (which is as fast as GPRS gets), a 240x320 resolution, 65,000 color, QVGA LCD screen, a miniSD memory card slot, Bluetooth, and dedicated media player control buttons on front. Bonus points to anyone who has noticed the strong resemblance between the C550 and T-Mobile's SDA Music Smartphone, they're both built by the same manufacturer in Taiwan.
