Entempo Rubato audio player includes crash protection, predictive playlists
Entempo's 20GB Rubato audio player has most of the features you'd expect in a current unit: FM radio, WMA support, line in, etc. It also includes a patented hard-drive protection system called ShoX, which supposedly makes the player more durable, along with an embedded version of Predixis MusicMagic, which Entempo claims can use acoustical analysis to generate a playlist of similar music after you pick just one song. We don't have a test unit to drop or program, so we can't test these claims, but if they're true, the $239 Rubato might be worth checking out.
