Motorola to launch ROKR iTunes phone this Thursday
After the media jumped the gun and we later breathed a sigh of relief that the E1060 was not the much-hyped iTunes phone in development by Apple and Motorola, we got word that the ROKR was to be the real deal. Well, if you've followed the soap opera thus far, you'll be happy to know that the ROKR will finally see the light of day this Thursday. Motorola is set to unveil the phone on the 10th, and we also expect it to add iTunes support for some other handsets as well, very likely including the RAZR — the phone that's propelled Motorola to the number 2 phone manufacturer slot, breathing down the neck of Nokia.

All I have to say is that Verizon better be carrying this phone or I'm gonna have to turn my head and shake it with disgust [again].

Is this likely to be a firmware update for the RAZR or a upgraded handset. I am curious to know since I just purchased the RAZR Fri. 3/4 and I do have the 30 days to do a return/exchange. Well, I guess i will know on Thur.
