We're getting a little curious about this growing trend of
fashionable gadgets breeding "fashionable" gadget-themed clothing; building on the
rich tradition of
iPod shirts comes the PodBrix Brixwear 1000. Not only
does it manage to work in that oblique PodBrix
art-project reference in there, but they even include a "magnetic clasp system" for binding that shuffle (better not
use that with your drive-based iPod) right to your shirt. Available in limited edition of 300 until they, you know,
mass produce them.

This guy's stuff is so played-out. Why such press on this?
i got one. probably one of the last ones because right after i finished the purchase with paypal, the website reloaded and they were sold out. i cant wait to get it. why the want for one so bad? look at the lego figurines on the site. original retail for 15 bucks. resale on ebay for close to a hundred. imagine what these freakin shirts are gonna go for
Yeah, but did Apple get their 10% of that? And will they come after another 10% when you resale it on eBay?
Oh well, I guess if you want to advertise that you have and iPod, even if it's a Shuffle. Hey, iPod theives! I've got one! (I'm not implying iPods are the only DAPs stolen) but c'mon, you wear this shirt and you're practically wearing a neon sign saying "Sucker here! Steal my stuff!"
I was seriously thinking about getting an iPod, but I asked myself "Do I want to be associated with this crowd?"
I think I will wait for that sleek Sony player coming out in June.
