Wireless providers get graded on customer service

Despite not giving a hoot what kind of service you get inside your own home, Verizon Wireless did nevertheless manage to top the rankings of customer care compiled by Vocal Laboratories, a company specializing in collecting data on companies' customer service operations (or lack thereof, as the case may be). The most recent tests were run on January 1 and March 31, and gave Verizon an "A" in caller satisfaction and a "B" in call completion. T-Mobile came in second, with a "B" in both categories. Cingular comes up next with a "C" in both, and good ol' Sprint holds down the bottom of the list with a "C" in caller satisfaction and a "D" in call completion. The most common complaints from wireless customers are the same as they've always been: long hold times and difficulty actually speaking with a live human.
