You're not really any good at Dance Dance Revolution until you can play while juggling
We're going to have to face facts: no matter how many hours a day we spend playing Dance Dance Revolution, we're
never going to be as good as this kid who just one upped an entire planet of DDR'ers by managing to juggle three pins
while playing at one of the fastest levels. His only competition is that one-legged guy.

dead already?
Oh my gawd! Valum needed.
Why's he not on Letterman yet?
that is some GOOD coordination.
That guy's my Pope.
You can't even make fun of this guy and call him a geek, or make the standard "too much time" statements... There is no way anyone can not be impressed by this!
now if thos things were on fire then i'd really be impressed!
Dude you'r the queer. You couldn't do that or anything like that. That kid is seriously coordinated. Juggling and hitting all the pads getting a perfect on DDR! That kid has some serious pattern recognition skills. He should learn to program with his hands and feet at the same time!!!!!!
he heh....you said "queer."
Yes, but can we get him to run on Linux? :-)
That is absolutely amazing...
Star Wars Kid 2.0
This video is dated 17 August 2002. Odd how it's making its rounds on a few blogs 32 months later...
Start posting on a few DDR forums here and there and you'll see MUCH more impressive things than that video.
Oh. My. God. I recorded that video 2 years ago at a ddr turnament at Mt Mike's Pizza. My friend Rubin ran the event (Seen in the blue shirt about 1 minute into it) and I think I still have the mini dv tape somewhere. Althou I no longer affiliate with ddrfreak.com, how the hell did this video randomly surface?
That's really freaking awesome, but I wish I could also see the screen, since you can't really tell if he's hitting all the correct moves. Do the lights on the mat illuminate when you're supposed to hit them, or do they light up when pressure is put on them? I only have the soft mats on Xbox, and there aren't any arcades around here.
You know this kid is never getting laid, but it's also safe to say that the extremely excited older gentleman to the right will never get laid either.
Fishes,
narco.
clearly its shopped.
Good god. Thats insane!
The one leg DDR video is here.

Hmm, reminds me when I was a kid. I had the fantastic Commodore vic 20, and just a few games. I played them until I got bored, and then I started playing them ... with my feet. Using one foot to move the stick and the other to push the button. Quite tragic when I think about it now.
This kid's obviously a serious juggler. You can tell by his equipment: the silver mylar wrapped Dube European clubs. I have those same juggling clubs (they're clubs, not pins) and the mylar makes it relatively easy to catch the flips out of the corner of your eye so you can keep your true focus on something else. Look for people doing balance acts combined with juggling - These are the clubs you'll typically find them using.
He's not on Letterman yet because he's doing something that is actually much easier than a juggling combination that's been around for a long time: Unicycles. When learning to juggle with a unicycle, you have to teach your upper and lower body to work wholly independently of each other. It's rare that someone actively moving around on a unicycle is doing more than a standard one-flip, three club pattern.
I don't want to make his accomplishment sound easy. Hell ... Juggling clubs in a standard pattern took me over a year to nail down. Adding stuff to it takes hours and hours of practice.
Good show, kid.
That is rather untrue you can find GREAT DDR players here: www.aaroninjapan.com
