Could the Jam Box be Apple's Asteroid?

Apple Asteroid

We don't know exactly what they've got cooking, but Apple recently filed a trademark for a new product called the "Jam Box" that they describe as being related to:

computer hardware; computer software; computer peripherals, namely audio production systems comprised of computer hardware and software for composing, recording, creating, converting, enhancing, processing, amplifying, mixing, manipulating, and playing audio signals.

Could this be that new Firewire audio interface for GarageBand (codenamed "Asteroid" or "Q97") that Apple's gotten so bent out of shape over? Fortunately they can't sue us or subpoena us anything for reporting this, since everything is derived from a search of the United States Patent and Trademark Office's database.
