Kemix's solar powered Bluetooth GPS receiver
The brilliant thing about those little Bluetooth GPS receiver dealies is that they let you add GPS navigation capabilities to most Bluetooth-enabled cellphones, laptops, and PDAs, and because it's a wireless connection you can usually just put the receiver in your bag or position it wherever in your car you get the best reception while driving. There are some downsides, of course, like that an external receiver is just one more thing you have to charge while you're traveling, and oftentimes the receivers have worse battery life than the gadgets they're connecting up to. Anyway we're not sure when, if ever, this is going to actually hit stores, but a Taiwanese manufacturer by the name of Kemix is coming out with a new solar powered Bluetooth GPS receiver that'll help address that battery life issue, at least in theory.
