Sanyo introduces two LD4 LCD TVs
Sanyo recently introduced two new LCD TVs, both part of the LD4 line. Coming in 32 and 27-inch varieties, the sets are the first to use Sanyo's ColourPlus+ picture enhancement technology (the redundant pluses seem intentional), which is supposed to refine both monochrome and color levels. Both TVs have an 8ms response time and brightness of 550cd/m2, while contrast ratio is 1000:1 on the 32-inch and 900:1 on the 27-incher. Prices and release dates don't seem to have been announced yet.
