Orange C550 drops on July 11th
Don't expect to see this baby Stateside for at least another few months/seasons — Cingular is still pushing its predecessor, the Audiovox SMT 5600, aka the C500 — but CoolSmartphone says that the Orange customers should be able to get their eurohands on the C550 starting July 11th. HTC, which actually makes the C550, basically took everything on the C500 and it made just a tiny bit better. The phone sports a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, GPRS class 10 (which is as fast as GPRS gets), a 240x320 resolution, 65,000 color, QVGA LCD screen, a miniSD memory card slot, Bluetooth, and dedicated media player control buttons on front.
