XkPad's BodyPad: Fight!
When will they learn? XkPad has joined the legions
of game accessory manufacturers asking us to stand up and do something when we sit down to play videogames. For
those of you who want to mix exercise with gaming, the device uses four pressure-sensitive sensors, two on the biceps
and two on the knees, along with a wireless radio belt. Compatible with the PS2 and most fighting games, BodyPad
costs $80 and works with most fighting games. Us? We'll be the freaked out neighbors across the way
watching in bewilderment as you virtually gank your girlfriend.

Well, the terriost wins once again.
Sigh.
Am I the only one who thinks this is a pretty kick ass idea, If it works well with fight night this could be amazing.
I think it would be really cool as well.
At the least, it will be a fun way to practice martial arts.
I'd love to have this with ankle and knee sensors. Talk about kick ass!
yeah, and if it came with a dale earnhardt sticker and a chevy on blocks, itd be even better.
gadgets for white trash, thats all.
The problem with these kinds of accessories is that the implementation is wonky at best. Something like this needs a game specifically built around it to truly shine.
But then how do you do special moves? I don't think it would work well with most games.

brought to you by the department of redundancy department! :)
i'll add this accesory to my uforce and powerglove collection.
Yeah, I think this type of thing works best when the game is built around it. Given the increasing amount of obesity, I think active games are a worthwhile pursuit. I've heard a lot of stories of people losing 20lbs while playing DDR or something.
