Unication's Linux-powered Magpie PDA
Anyway, while we're on the topic of Linux-powered
clamshell PDAs, is this that "VOIP PDA" that
Unication was showing off at Computex last week? Not 100% sure, but the Magpie does look about the same and it does
come with built-in VoIP software. Besides running on Linux, the Magpie also has a 200MHz processor, built-in 802.11b
WiFi, a mini QWERTY keyboard, an FM radio transmitter (which is a little unusual for a PDA, but whatevs), stereo
speakers, and an SD memory card slot.

PalmOne, this is your wakeup call.
to bad that FM part will make it unavailable/illegal in some parts of the world...

Engadget, it's days like this I really don't envy the editor...
Wot?! no bluetooth?!
In that case - it's still the lifedrive for me - but no reason i can't have this as well.
They both take SD cards, they'll play together nicely, and my camera can join in too.
Tell me about it. We have this one loser who keeps posting comment spam for his "Dell Deals" site. It's one thing to put up a link in a post about a new Dell laptop or whatever, but this guy has been putting them up all over the place. I used to just delete them, but posting their email address is far more satisfying.
Were do you buy the Unication Magpie? Hom much is it?
