iFind self-screening breast cancer detector

iFind

Glossing over for the moment the fact that this whole "i" naming scheme has really gone too far, we present the iFind home breast cancer screening device, which can be used by women to self-screen between regular breast exams. It works by monitoring differences in blood oxygen ratios to detect speedier growing cancerous cells — if it picks up any warning sings for early cancers, the user is alerted via light or vibration. A prototype of the device was shown to be 93 percent effective in clinical trials over six years, which is a fairly remarkable success rate as far as predictive tests go. Its use of near-infrared light makes it safe technology, with no harmful effects from using the device as frequently as desired.
