So Creative's been planning on putting out a competitor to the iPod photo in its cryptically-named
Zen Micro Photo, but now it's looking like the product
will be delayed until at least August, and they're also now unsure whether they can meet that $349 estimated pricepoint
they talked up at CES. The reason for the holdup, according to the ever charismatic Creative CEO Sim Wong Hoo, is that
"the success of the original Zen Micro has been so great that it was tough to deliver an encore in such a short period
of time." Right. We understand it must be difficult,
struggling under the weight of one's own success.
