So of course Google SMS search delivers regular search
results to your cellphone in text-based format, but the new service they've just rolled out delivers search results
specifically from websites formatted for mobile devices. This means that the results you get back from your searches
will actually be viewable on your cellphone or handheld in a way that isn't almost completely useless. It should also
prove to be an interesting method for discovering which sites have specifically formatted mobile versions, perhaps even
enabling some actual surfing on your cellphone without tears. To use it, just go to Google's regular home page, enter
your query and choose "Mobile Web (Beta)" (beta is the new black, you know) as your search option. Also, at least so
far, it's ad free.
