University of Essex transmits at 10.4Gbps… wirelessly
Burst wireless transmission speeds may not
mean a whole lot, but you've got to dig the novelty of the University of Essex's new world record wireless data
transmission rates. Yup, they got a full 10.4Gbps over the air, just to show
they could it could be done. You
know, for science. No, this isn't a see-whose-is-bigger
contest with Siemens at all. Nope, not at all.
