Mail.appetizer 1.2 Beta 2 was released yesterday, updating the notification app to Tiger-readiness. Stefan Schüßler's Mail plugin provides growl-like transparent notifications for people who either aren't running growl, or just like his ultraslick interface. 1.2b2 includes not only Tiger compatibility, but much improved handling of Mail's API with less reliance on private methods that may disappear in later versions of Mail and a universal binary for both PPC and x86 compatibility.
