Mark Ho's ZoHo Artform number 1
Ok, so Amsterdam artist Mark Ho's ZoHo Artform number 1 may only be a posable android form, but damned if this isn't the most elaborate, well designed mechanical simulacra of the human anatomy that we've seen in a long time. Apparently each of his Artforms number 1 is comprised of over 920 individual hand made steel and bronze pieces—with 101 in each hand—which we assume are painstakingly assembled by him, or if not then perhaps overseas where all the rest of the world's robots seem to come from. But despite its intricacy (and C3PO flashbackosity), you'll never get us to admit it's cuter than precious, precious QRIO.
