Crown Castle fixing to build a nationwide digital TV network for cellphones
Last time we checked in on Crown Castle they were testing a Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld, or DVB-H, service with Nokia in Pittsburgh and thinking about their next move, now Investor's Business Daily says they're looking for some big time financial backers to help them turn their network of 10,000 radio towers into a nationwide network for delivering digital TV broadcasts to cellphones and other mobile devices. We looked around the house and couldn't find quite enough to help them out, but if you're dying to watch digital TV on your cellie and've got a spare billion you're looking to invest, this might be your thing. We're hear that they're giving away free Crown Castle mugs when you invest at least $100 million.
